12 Days of Spring

On the first day of Spring my true love gave to me...
A wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the second day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the third day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Three daffodils, two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the fourth day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the fifth day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Five apple trees, four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the sixth day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Six sparrows singing, five apple trees, four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking tree.

On the seventh day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Seven robin red breasts, six sparrows singing, five apple trees, four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the eighth day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Eight little gardeners, seven robin red breasts, six sparrows singing, five apple trees, four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the ninth day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Nine tiny seedlings, eight little gardeners, seven robin red breast, six sparrows singing, five apple trees, four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the tenth day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Ten chicks a cheeping, nine tiny seedlings, eight little gardeners, seven robin red breasts, six sparrows singing, five apple trees, four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the eleventh day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Eleven tractors rumbling, ten chicks a cheeping, nine tiny seedlings, eight little gardeners, seven robin red breasts, six sparrows singing, five apple trees, four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

On the twelfth day of Spring my true love gave to me...
Twelve cherry blossoms, eleven tractors rumbling, ten chicks a cheeping, nine tiny seedlings, eight little gardeners, seven robin red breasts, six sparrows singing, five apple trees, four purple pansies, three daffodils, two humming birds, and a wood pecker pecking a tree.

~ Family Group Think. We were driving in the car and I just started to make it up, then the kids chimed in and helped me come up with some. I had to move things around so that they would fit the tune but here's the finished product. (8/22/14 - I came back to it so it's not like I've been working on it for the past four months.)
